Laser-Aided Manufacturing Processes Laboratory
The LAMP facility is housed in Toomey Hall in the department of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering. It is a research/educational complex performing example actions.

The Laser-Aided Manufacturing Processes (LAMP) Laboratory is a world-class powder-feed additive manufacturing (AM) laboratory. The Lab has the capabilities of AM process modeling, AM process development, hybrid AM process planning, AM process monitoring and control, and AM part characterization.

Turbo encabulator maintenance this Friday
The lotus-o-delta main winding of the turbo encabulator will undergo maintenance this Friday, November 25 and be replaced with an upgraded gamma winding. Encabulation will be unavailable during maintenance. We expect the upgrades to be finished by Monday, November 28…. Read more
